An important activity of Senaren is providing assistance to underprivileged children. Funding supports general school fees and boarding school fees when needed.
Two tragedies have occurred in Indonesia this year: two youths have committed suicide because their parent could not afford the school fees.
In many areas of Indonesia, annual school fees are US$60, and boarding school fees are US$60 per month.
