GoFundMe Drive for Donations for Families Affected by the Aug 15 Earthquake
Co-founder Dr. Linda S. McIntosh has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for basic necessities, such as food and water, for families in need following the August 25th earthquake and its aftershocks, which destroyed homes, water tanks, schools, hospitals, government offices, airports, and harbors. Many families continue to live in temporary housing - tents.
Access to basic necessities is difficult. The quake damaged water tanks. The dry season has dried up natural water sources.
YORIS aims to spend US$50 per household on drinking water, rice, soap, and other basic necessities to ease these hardships. The more donations the foundation receives, the more people it will assist.
Thank you very much for your time and contributions.
