The Senaren Foundation invites you to an immersive workshop on traditional textile-making techniques, scheduled for November 20-22, 2025.
This three-day intensive program will be led by master weavers from indigenous communities, who will share their knowledge of ancient methods passed down intergenerationally.
What You Will Learn:
- Traditional loom setup and operation
- Natural dye preparation from plants
- Pattern design and symbolism
- Spinning and yarn preparation
- Cultural significance of textiles
Workshop Details:
- Date: November 20-22, 2025
- Time: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily
- Location: Senaren Cultural Centre
- Fee: $150 (includes materials)
- Capacity: Limited to 20 participants
Participants will create their own textile piece to take home. All skill levels welcome!
